"A giant leap forward for large dogs"

Today marked a special event with the official opening of our new extension by the practice's founder Mr John McCaig. The extension was erected mainly for the benefit of clients with "giant" dogs such as Great Danes, Newfoundlands, St. Bernards and Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Although our original kennels were adequate for most breeds, in recent years we have seen an increase in the number of very large dogs. For routine operations and in-patient monitoring of sick dogs our "walk-in" kennels with under-floor heating are ideal.

There is also an isolation facility in the extension for sick cats and the old laundry room has been incorporated into the design (to the huge relief of our nurses who used to have to go outside in all weathers to the old shed!)
